Jicinta Elliott is a highly experienced Registered Counsellor and Women’s Wellness Practitioner. With over 15 years of experience you will find her counselling approach engaging, insightful, friendly, honest and down-to-earth.
She founded Counselling For Her out of a deep commitment to women’s health and well-being. With a unique combination of advanced qualifications, university education and professional experience across health, community, and corporate sectors, Jicinta specialises in providing comprehensive highly skilled support.
Beyond her work with menopause and perimenopause - Jicinta's expertise includes improving health & wellness, coping with trauma, parenting, child & adolescent mental health, women's mental health, family dynamics, co-parenting, navigating divorce, self-concept, personal transformation and enhancing relationships.
As a mother of two adults, Jicinta's passion for empowering women and fostering positive change shines brightly in her work. In her free time, she loves exploring the Moreton Bay region, walking in nature, and enjoying moments with friends and family.

During your first session your therapist will ask you questions to get to know you better and understand what brings you to counselling. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the counselling process.
